Cradled in your arms
All these many years.
Shelter from my worries,
Solace for my tears.
I have sought all I could ever wish for
And found forever more
Each time your warm faces
Had a soothing smile in store.

Your wonderful faces,
Stern in refrain
Mellow in sorrow
Wincing in pain.
Glowing with pride
At steps I took.
Smiling at me,
Reading an upturned book.

Your caring eyes
Gleaming with joy
Lit by the laughter
Of your child with his toy.
Welling with tears
As you said good bye.
Filling with fears
As you let me fly.

As I fly towards a new day,
A new life a new way.
I take with me memories
of your caring eyes,
Of the words you never had to say,
Of how you always had your way.
Smiling, Scowling, Yelling in glee
Giving all you had, solely to me.

Of all great things that come my way
Your Being My parents will always stay
The greatest gift that will ever be.
Mumma and Papa
Heres Wishing you,
A VERY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
