We hope you can join us for all the wedding events -
spanning the sangeet and the wedding in Mumbai and the reception
in Delhi. If you are traveling from abroad, give yourself at
least a week (and ideally, two weeks) in India to soak in the
country.

We would recommend staying near the domestic airport or in the
suburb of Bandra. There are several budget and luxury hotels in
both areas.
We have blocked a few rooms at Hotel Suba Galaxy and the MIG Cricket Club and would be very happy to reserve you a room if you RSVP by July 21, 2013. |
The reception venue is fairly close to the Indira
Gandhi Airport. Again, there are several budget and luxury hotels in
the area.
We have access to a number of great options for you to stay - so let us know your plans and we'll book rooms for you. Remember to RSVP by July 21, 2013! |
If you are traveling to India for a week, we recommend flying in to Mumbai by Saturday, 12 October so you are well-rested and ready to party at the Sangeet on Sunday, 13 October. Plan to fly to Delhi on Tuesday, 15 October. Agra (home of the Taj Mahal) and Jaipur are both day trips from Delhi. Try to spend at least a day or two in the beautiful historic city of Delhi itself. If you do and are feeling adventurous, Akshay would be happy to take you on a food tour. |
If you have more time in India, then Kerala, Goa, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh are great destinations in October.
Most foreign nationals will require Visas to India. Since we
expect you all to visit often, we'd recommend getting a 10 year
visa. You can find the application forms and details you need here.
